The book is actually realy good,it tells you what to do and when to do it, the problem is that the routines didn’t work, at least not for me. If you want something that works more than a few weeks, I can only recommend you, “Your guide to XLNT fitness” from www. xlntfitness. com

It was a good book, but I was looking for something more. Maybe I was just looking for TOO much. This seems like a GREAT book for someone who is just starting to work out, but not much info for someone who is already in a routine.

This book is a rip off. There are very few words on each page compared to real fitness books such as framework, core performance, etc. Very little information as well. This should have cost 1/5 the price of what it did.

First off, I believe this book to be suitable for a beginner. If you have already been lifting six months to a year and are looking for fresh workout ideas, I wouldn’t bother buying the book. There are better books (and web sites) out there for your needs.

My biggest gripe is that there is only one 12 week workout plan. When buying I did not realize that the “workouts” in the title would mean the workouts that make up each week of one single 12 week plan.

This book was recommended when I ordered Frederic Delavier’s “Strength Training Anatomy” (which is excellent). Unfortunately this Orvis book is extremely basic, meant for those who know nothing about weight training. The photos are the poorest quality I’ve ever seen in a book. Perhaps taken with a Polaroid or very cheap 35MM camera. I wasted $14. 95 !!!
