Thinking Skinny was very helpful to me. It is full of great guidance and insight. I read this book and I feel like I have a workable plan to use for my own weight-loss. I found the visualizations easy to do and they helped keep me focused on my goal. The before and after photos helped me really see the difference in the author’s appearance. The book is very motivational, and I was inspired by reading Nadia Giordana’s story, which she tells with great honesty, openness and compassion. I was not surprised when I learned recently that this book was a finalist in the Midwest Book Awards. I can confidently recommend it.

  2. Thinking Skinny supplies the missing component in many weight-loss plans, consistent support.
The author, Nadia Giordana, becomes a kind of written “big sister” whose transformation is a constant inspiration Besides the motivational impact of the book, she has provided concrete daily steps readers can take to stay on track, including recipes as well as “thinking” hints.

The book itself is very attractive and easy to read; her format with many subtitles allows the reader to return easily to a favorite section. or to an idea that might call for further exploration.

  3. This afternoon, as I try on clothes that are now too big for me, I reflect on the many points and tips in Thinking Skinny that were, and still are, so helpful for me. The book is full of great guidance and insights, and I reread them over and over as motivational reminders. It is inspiring to read Nadia Giordana’s story, which she tells with great honesty, openness and compassion. It feels like I’ve got a friend right there with me. I have really enjoyed this book.
